Kick-Ass IT Network Analyst Summary:

As the IT Network Analyst, you will work on support admin tasks, perform updates and cleanup tasks on data and information in Debian IT’s managed services systems, assist other technicians with their work, provide remote support and troubleshooting of computer, network, and server related issues for clients. You will assist other Debian IT team members, provide customer support for the installation, maintenance, and utilization of computers and network software, hardware, and administration. Also, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and keeping computer documentation accurate and current.

As a IT Network Analyst, you will be accountable to:

  • Provide friendly and helpful customer service as first point of contact (end-user computing, printing and connectivity) requiring telephone support or remote remediation within an expected timeframe.
  • Assist clients with troubleshooting of computer related issues such as virus removal/password resets/email setup/software installs, resolution of workstation issues (diagnosis/remediation, application install/configuration/removal, performance analysis/tuning).
  • Maintain accurate records of completed and pending jobs using a Ticketing System (start/end times, work performed details).
  • Where required, escalate incidents and/or problems.
  • Interface effectively with the client to maintain the highest degree of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the warranty policies and escalation procedures of the various manufacturers supported.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Service Portfolio and maintain an in-depth understanding of Client operations in order to deliver exceptional maintenance and support services.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies, participate in company-sponsored training initiatives, maintain personal certification requirements, and obtain manufacturer certifications relating to the work environment as required by management.
  • Adhere to the procedures and escalation processes as defined by management.
  • Demonstrate good social skills in a professional environment.
  • Resolve a number of requests and issues daily.
