These key people are responsible for leading our teams, improving our processes, coming up with innovative solutions, mentoring our analysts and keeping our clients exceptionally happy.
Mr. Mark Shoesmith (President)
As a Debian IT President, Mr. Shoesmith is responsible for the day to day operation of the company, quality assurance, and coordination of technical teams. Mr. Shoesmith manages relationships with some of Calgary’s most prominent organizations and individuals. Mr. Shoesmith also leads the development of company policies and is responsible for mentoring initiatives for Debian IT team members.
Mr. Shoesmith brings to Debian IT significant experience in the development and maintenance of client relationships and is responsible for the satisfaction of and quality delivery of IT services to Debian IT clients. Mr. Shoesmith is also responsible for the coordination of resources for project teams and IT strategic planning teams. Mr. Shoesmith has also recently consulted in business continuity planning and corporate governance projects for some of Calgary’s most important financial institutions. Prior to joining Debian IT Mr. Shoesmith worked in customer quality assurance for a national firm.
Mr. Shoesmith holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary and has earned the designation of MCP. Mr. Shoesmith is also a graduate of the Queen's Leadership Program from the Queen's School of Business at Queen's University.
Mr. Vincent Fung (Managing Director and CEO)
Mr. Fung holds a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary as well as an MBA from Queen's University. Adding to the list of Vincent's credentials are MCSE and MCT Certifications.
Mr. Ritchie Fung (Managing Director)
Mr. Fung holds a bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Calgary, the designation of MCSE as well as an MBA from Queen's University. Mr. Fung also holds board seats for several private Calgary based companies and is a member of the prestigious Calgary Golf and Country Club.
